I begin with the clarity of using a particular semi precious gemstone and arrive at complexity, creating a tapestry of hues, mixing a variety  textures, colors, sizes and shapes.  Sometimes opposition plays into my creative process with dynamic patterns and other times harmony with delicate interplays.  Both reflect a unique one-of-a-kind design.  Collecting gemstones from around the world gives the pieces an ethnic appeal, sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical.  These necklaces express inner reflections ranging from feelings of peaceful harmony while gazing at blue turquoise and green malachite or joyful uplifted  spirit  while gazing at red and coral, or the wonderment at the splendor of the crackled yellow color in citrine and galaxy quartz.

One necklace has green malachite beads which are a stone of transformation and spiritual evolution. Another blue and green beads are chrylsocolla a peaceful stone of communication and empowerment. Meticulous detail, natural materials, and sensuous colors make up the handcrafted jewelry.

The finishing touch are the metal clasps which are shaped and then hand wrought, designed for ease of putting on and taking off the necklace
