Mauro Zepeda

Mauro Zepeda is a ceramicist from Long Beach, CA.  He began making pottery in 2019 and was inspired by wanting to create pots for his cacti and plant collection. He has taken classes at local pottery studios and converted a storage shed into a home pottery studio.  Mauro experiments with various clay bodies and ceramic techniques, such as crackle pottery, raku firing, and obvara firing.
