Kristine Nelson
Campo Clay consists of four ceramic artists working in Naples, Long Beach. Kris Nelson, Lisa Hopkins, Kristen Gomez, & Mary Jane Mirasol are neighbors that work out of a garage studio.
Kris began working in clay at Cypress College in the summer of 1997 and continued academically till 2002 at which time she converted her garage into a studio. In 2021 Campo Dr. neighbors Lisa & Mary Jane joined the studio with Kristen following shortly in 2022.
Kris feels blessed to share her love of clay with like minded individuals in her neighborhood who commit their creative energy – we are more than neighbors, we are family, we are clay sisters.
