Joyce Watanabe

Joyce CarolĀ  – Inspiration comes from a love of nature. A fascination of rocks, shells and glass led Joyce Watanabe to learn lapidary and metal working skills. She first learned pearl knotting from her aunt, self-taught earring making and from there has been taking jewelry making class throughout Southern California for more than 25 years. She loves finding the natural materials and then shapes them to be used in her unique one of a kind jewelry. Experimentation with various materials and techniques provides an endless array of material to work with. She has been honored by the Catalina Art Association and the Palos Verdes Art Center Members Holiday Shows. Her joy is to see her work worn and admired.
