Ghermayn Baker

Ghermayn is a woven furniture restoration expert and artist residing in Cal Heights. Together with his wife Christina Powers, Ghermayn founded Point by Point Studio, a studio specializing in the restoration of cane, rattan, wicker, and other woven furniture. A lifelong craftsman and artist with a deep love for patterns, Ghermayn’s craft is rooted in the tradition and exploration of woven patterns from around the world. Ghermayn is a 2023 recipient of The Furniture Society’s Educational Grant and his work has been recognized by UCLA Alumni’s Bruin Business 100.
