After discovering bone carving while living in New Zealand, I returned home with a feeling of having direction in which I could channel my creativity. I made a work space for myself and never looked back. A decade or so later, the time seemed right to start showing my work and exposing my passion to the world. I’ve been showing publicly ever since.

I focus on large scale, wall hanging, wooden sculptures and am constantly pushing the boundaries of how large a piece I can create. I am always looking to expand my woodworking techniques and knowledge while trying to incorporate as many new materials as possible. I find the challenge of manipulating and shaping wood to be exciting and choose to work nearly exclusively with this material.

I often find my audience surprised that a finished piece is made of wood. This is when I know I’ve truly succeeded in my process.
