Featuring Artist Richard Chavando

Richard Chavando is a dynamic artist, maker, and teacher at the Long Beach Public Library makerspace The Studio, where he shares his knowledge and experience to help cultivate art and innovation within his community. Richard’s work includes the use of a variety of mediums such as wood, textiles, drawing, painting, digital design, and illustration. Richard has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in illustration and has shown work at The Society of Illustrators New York City, ANDLAB gallery, Ontario Museum of History and Art, and MADE by Millworks gallery.

Spacetime Collaborative creates innovative tech & art projects and events that inspire wonder and curiosity. Our team connected while collaborating on the Box of Boom project, and launched in 2019 as Spacetime Collaborative.

David Hedden is an intentional designer and urban farmer with a focus on projects that provoke an awareness for sustainable and creative thinking. Creator of makerspaces, innovation spaces, and educator of industrial design at CSULB.

Gabriel “Gabotron” Gaete loves to dabble in the intersection between art and music. He enjoys drawing strange geometric patterns, creating music related digital programs, and imparting maker knowledge where he works at the Long Beach Public Library makerspace.

Dan Lundmark is an interactive design + code, photography/film/VR/AR, computer science & art undergrad, econ MBA focused on microfinance, bootstrapping @SWVFTar fpv drone innovation & electric mobility, love to chill with the fam in the surf/snow/riding bmx and running.
