Mixed Signals was established in 2002 by five art graduates of Cal State Long Beach who also happened to be friends and colleagues.  Membership has shifted since the start, but still includes graduates from CSU Long Beach along with artists from the greater Los Angeles area.  The studio includes painters, printmakers, sculptors, art educators and professors.  Current artists use the warehouse space to create, discuss, think about art, and enjoy being a part of a community of artists.
