Jill Kollmann

Jill Kollmann – 130 W. 36th Street

Jill Kollmann‘s medium of choice is polymer clay, but don’t be surprised to find a bit of this or that also included in some of her work!  Polymer clay is used to create wearable art jewelry as well as home décor and gift items.  Her approach involves custom-blending colors and using various techniques to manipulate the clay into the desired shape, followed by extensive hand sanding and buffing for a high shine.  Many of her signature pieces feature floral-themed micro-sculpt applique.

Jill’s work has been shown and sold in the 2017 International Wearable Expressions Exhibition at the Palos Verdes Art Center, in The Artists’ Studio Gallery, and at the City of Brea Art Museum.  She is the President of the Orange County Polymer Clay Guild and a member of the Bead Society of Orange County.  Her works have been published in The Polymer Arts, Polymer Café, and Bead Trends magazines.
