As an artist and designer my work is best understood as a fusion of ideas and materials. Moving between the modern and traditional, the organic and the machined, the original and the found, my pieces recycle remnants of earlier periods into vital new ideas that generate a new statement about life, art, and individual expression. Enmeshed in both process and medium, I fuse traditional techniques such as inlay with the precision and clarity of industrial technologies like machine rendered steel.
